Is it possible to physically "feel" the growth of the hair transplants after 5 months?

Dear doctors, i guess i have a very uncommon question.I had a FUE HT with 2500 grafts in the frontal area 5 months ago. Everything seems good so far but since a couple of weeks my skin is very sensitive in the reception area.It's very difficult to explain,it feels like i do have some kind of pressure on the skin,it feels tight,sometimes it's itching. That feeling stays the whole day 24/7,but it never hurts.Could this be because i am in the growth phase? Am i just hyper-sensitive? Is that normal?

You can use hair products and concealers after surgery based on what your doctor recommends. Every doctor is different in their post operative care instructions.  5 weeks may be enough in general but it is always a good idea to keep your doctor in the loop.

Nothing you take will STOP genetic predisposition.  Propecia and Rogaine are the only two medication approved by the FDA to treat genetic male pattern hair loss but it is NOT a cure.  If you are concerned please follow up with your doctor for an exam. This may or may NOT be normal....

Can the hair above one's ears be used for transplantation?

Hair above the ears can be used as donor hair for hair transplant surgery.  A doctor would need to examine you to make sure you have a good donor area.  3000 graft surgery is possible if you have good donor hair and scalp elasticity.
