Would microneedling be beneficial for my hypertrophic breast lift scars or potentially make them worse?

Hello, I have some hypertrophic breast lift scars that my derma PA recommend Microneedling for. However, my understanding was that MN was best for treating indented scars since it encourages collagen production. Parts of my scar were previously injected with steroid injections but they're still a little raised and textured. Would MN be beneficial in any way or potentially make them worse? Are there any lasers or other treatments recommended for my breast lift and areola scars? Thank you!
