Male considering TT pos 100lb weight loss. Have heard some people talking about change to their Penis color (black and blue color) as well as swelling. Is this common/has to happen? how long does it last? Also does the location of the scar has any effect on this? I mean is going lower with the scar is bad for men and the scar should be a bit higher? Just trying to be prepared as I don't see this subject addressed in many places.

Answer: Male Tummy Tuck Thank you for your question. You might have some bruising but it’s all temporary it will go away. I usually put my scar pretty low specially in patients with massive weight loss that is in order to shape the suprapubic area. Make sure you do your research and most importantly make sure your plastic surgeon is a Board Certified By The American Board of Plastic Surgeons.

Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear improve110, tummy tuck should not cause change of color. There is a chance that you will have swelling and hematoma or bruising in the early post-operative period but it should resolve with time. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
