I have been contemplating fixing my upper lip length and lack of shape. The length of my upper lip does not seem too bad until you see the sides of my upper lip, which extend downwards and seem very long. This is possibly made worse due to a lack of structure/volume in the paranasal area, especially where the alar edge meets the rest of my face. Can I excise more skin in an upper lip lift on the sides of the alae versus taking the majority of skin directly under the columella?
