Pain is generated by sensory nerves that may have been traumatized during surgery. These nerves cannot be seen as they are very small. You can perform manual message of the areas to desensitive the nerve endings that are likely growing back. It should get better with time.

Infection is not common being that far out from surgery. However, other issues such as fat necrosis, lumpiness or those related to the regeneration and redistribution of the sensory nerve endings can occur. It may not be a bad idea to have it checked out by your surgeon.
