Thank you for your question, and congratulations on the pregnancy. I would not use any product like Botox or any other injectables until the baby arrives, and if you decide to breast-feed, then after breast-feeding.
You should not be doing any botox or fillers while you are pregnant. You do not want to risk anything happening to your baby. If you feel you need to speak with a doctor about this i think you should, but most likely they will advise you to wait, and also if you plan on breast feeding too you should not use botox or fillers.
I do not feel there is any risk to yourself or your baby if you were to inadvertently get botox during pregnancy, however, i still recommend as there are no studies on patients who are pregnant to avoid any cosmetic procedures during this time, wait till after you deliver. Best, Dr. Emer.
There are no options to Botox that would be 100% safe for your infant. No physician will treat a pregnant woman with injectables.
There haven't been any adequate, large-scale studies on the safety of Botox injections for pregnant women. I recommend waiting until after you've delivered to get any cosmetic injections such as Botox or various fillers. The majority of Dermatologists would offer the same advice here.
There are no alternatives to Botox that are known to be safe during pregnancy. It is safest to avoid Botox completely during pregnancy as well as breastfeeding. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Dear lauraatha:While pregnant and breast feeding, it is prudent not to risk any complications with Botox or injectables. You can keep up the youthfulness of your skin with glycolic acid exfoliants and peels, anti-oxidants (such as vitamin C serum), moisturizers and sun-block. I recommend you consult with a Certified ZO Obagi Skin Health Specialist for your best results. Congratulations and good luck on staying gorgeous!
Thank you for your question, it does not appear to that your injections caused the severity of symptoms this far out after your procedure. I would definitely check back with your injecting physician.
It's possible that your masseter muscle has decreased in size and resulted in your cheek now appearing sunken. It is best for your to consult with your injector and your primary care physician to determine whether what you are describing is indeed from the Botox, or from another medical...
Thank you for question. Wondering why did you switch to a new injector when you were happy with the price and results. $12/unit is fair price for Botox. Discuss your concerns with your injector. Best Wishes.
Hello,I would also recommend seeing the same, experienced injector for all of your facial injections because they work together in harmony and the same practitioner will have a clear picture of your treatment history. All the best
Hello,Generally all pain relievers are safe for headache after your treatment but we recommend that you avoid blood-thinners the week prior. Check with your injector to see what they advise. All the best!
Thank you for your question. In short, no you cannot sweat out Botox nor can you "kill the Botox" effect. You have to wait about three months for the effects to wear off.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
