I had Kybella 6 months ago. Instead of reducing my fat, it caused permanent swelling with a hard lump near my Adam’s apple. I’m a professional model. My face is now ruined by kybella. My chin 6 months later is huge! And I even lost 10 pounds! Help! I now suffer from depression from what Kybella dud to my looks

Answer: Problems from Kybella injection i'm not a big fan of this treatment at all. Liposuction is far superior and just about every way. More than anything my biggest concern is that I don't think you were a good treatment for any type of fat reducing treatment. Your mandible lacks projection and this is why you form a double chin. Without comparison pictures none of us can give you any type of assessment. People respond differently to the inflammatory responses of Kybella. Six months is probably a realistic time to consider your results final. If you're not happy with your facial aesthetics then consider starting where you are with different treatment options. Chin augmentation is probably going to serve you better than anything else in regards to this part of your body. This could be done with fillers or a conservative implant. If there is fat in your neck it could easily be determined during a consultation. I suggest having a few in person consultations with experience board-certified plastic surgeons or facial plastic surgeons. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
