I had a very bad liposuction. Are the results reversible?

Something is not right here in the photos. Please send correct before photos. Anyway, i never recommend vaser nor Renuvion nor Smart lipo anyway since too many complications.

I dont see why this cant be fixed although I also feel you may have been in better "shape" then too  and possibly need more muscular toning and hormonal optimization.  all my clients do trusculpt FLEX post treatment to help build the ab muscles. it looks like he removed all the tendindous insertions and decreased you baseline fat over your abs so this will be challenging to repair, you will liekly need 1) surgical revision2) fat grafting to the abs3) long term trusculpt FLEX4) bellafill/renuva injections to the abs please see an expert for this.  Its not easy to repair if anyone can do it at all. I do this multiple times a week over 60% of my cases are now revisions.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hello,There are a few issues that require clarification prior to offering you accurate advice. The first inquiry would be how far out are you from the surgery?  Is there still swelling that hasn't resolved? What was your "before" shape? Are the before images you have posted from several years ago? There are many possible reasons as to why you may lost ab definition after Vaser. This can include scarring, weight gain or weight loss, changes in muscle tone, contour irregularities from liposuction, or changes to the natural elasticity of your skin. Your before photos also appear to be professionally taken compared to your after selfies which may make the difference even more dramatic. It is best to have an in-office evaluation to determine what options can improve your situation. It may not be possible to make you look like exactly like your before photos however you may have at least some modest improvements. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD

Poorly done Liposuction is difficult to correct especially when done in an aggressive fashion using devices like VASER.Your before pictures look manipulated and enhanced. Great looking abdomen but I suggest you show us proper before and after pictures taken by a plastic surgeon in the same setting/lightning. That way we have a more accurate way of assessing your outcome.I’m sorry to lack enthusiasm about treatment options.There simply aren’t very many.Basic treatment options for poorly done Liposuction come down to revision Liposuction, fat transfer or converting the procedure to a skin removal procedure like a tummy tuck. I don’t think anyone of those options are appropriate for you.Personally I’m not a believer in high definition body etching.Unfortunately I’ve seen too many people end up like you and rarely have I seen results that look natural and are impressive.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
