I take 2.5 mg proscar for 1 year. If I switch to a lower dose of proscar (1.25 mg), will I lose hair?

1. I had a successful hair transplant 8 months ago 2. I have started taking 2 ml daily of 5% minoxidil.

It is best to avoid prolonged direct sun exposure to your scalp after a hair transplant.We send our patients home with a cap and specific instructions to wear a cap and/or apply sun block spray SPF 30 or greater every 2 hrs while out in the sun during the first 6 months.

If your surgery did not work last time, and you decided to have another surgery , isn't it too late to ask if it will work the 2nd time?  You would have to wait and see.

If you do not like your high forehead or hair recession, a hair transplant surgery may be an option.  You can start by seeing a doctor in person for an examination and consultation.
