I've got some bumps on my nose as mementos from previous bouts of cystic acne. There also seems to be a general light swelling which makes the skin orange-peely when closely with inspected, maybe from a previous fraxel round. I've heard that steriod injections can help reduce hypertrophic scarring. Would that be viable for my case? Anybody recommemded in LA? Background: mid 36 y/o asian male. Previously had fraxel

I suggest you go to a laser expert, this can be improved greately with fractional co2 laser and microneedling/PRP but will take a few lighter treatments given your ethnic background as well as proper pre and post-procedure skin care.  Less invasive options include fractional RF like sublative or VIVA which will not affect your skin type. Best, Dr. Emer.
