Is hyperpigmentation common on Miradry patients after miraDry?

I had my miraDry done on January 2017 and noticed that hyperpigmentation has been forming in my skin beside the underarm (above my boobs). I noticed the darkening at around June or July 2017. I have used lasers and creams but all it did was lessen it and it didn't get rid of it completely. Help!!!

any energy treatment can cause hyperpigmentation its just not that common with this ultrasound treatment.

Hyperpigmentation from any type needs a combination approach of peels like cosmelan,  lasers like clear and brilliant and aerolase or laser genesis, radiofrequency like venus viva, and constant skin care and sun protection.  Bimontly facials with silk peel dermalinfusion is essential to hydrate, exfoliate and infuse vitamins and antioxidants into the skin.  If you have acne you can do additional treatments and peels to get more improvement.  I suggest a formal consultation with an expert in lasers and peels. Thanks for your question.  Hopefully by now some of the pigment has become less noticeable.  I would recommend returning to your dermatologist or whomever did your treatment and make sure there is not some other reason you have darkening of the skin in that area. It sounds like the onset of the pigment was quite a few months after the MiraDry, so it might just be coincidental.  There are other causes of darkening of the skin in certain areas, so I'd see an expert and get checked out with a full skin exam.  Best of luck!
