Unfortunately this is a common and unfortunate outcome of donut lifts, which is why I advise against them. Your best choice is to downsize your implants and convert the lift to the lollipop type if lift. This may need to done in stages.

Unfortunately, you have severe scarring after donut lift which is frequent. Your nipples are not botched, they are overstretched due to scar pull. Large implants may also contribute to this condition. Possible solution would be revision of lift with scar excision, vertical type of lift (lollipop scar), possibly smaller implants and definitely less stretching of areola and nipple. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in breast lift surgery is recommended. Good luck.

Due to underlying tension, stretching of scars in not an uncommon phenomenon after having a donut type lift. To revise your scars would be challenging due to an insufficient skin excess at this time. It may require reducing the implant volume and converting to a more aggressive lift.

The 450 cc implants combined with the normal breast tissue is a heavy mechanical load and your areolas have stretched. You will need the areolas revised using a circumareola approach. Also, you may want to consider smaller implants or explantation to decrease the mechanical load.

Thank you for your question. I rarely say this on a public forum, but you did get botched. It is clear that your surgeon performed a donut lift(mastopexy) inappropriately when he should have performed a more formal lollipop or anchor mastopexy. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to revision area breast surgery. I do see cases like this occasionally. Affects his to perform a full lift. Sometimes it requires 2 stages to get full removal of the scar tissue. The good news is that you should be held to remove the vast majority of scar tissue and have attractive breasts. it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. BAsed on your photos, it looks like you have significant scaring and you will probably get the best results after revision surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
