How to find vein specialist to treat blue veins under eye area? How do you know what best procedure? (Photo)

Question

Have a few veins along the undereye and temporal region that I would like to get fixed. But each doctor recommends different procedures and cant find any vein doctor specialist that are recommended in LA area from other clients or word of mouth. What is the safest way to treat this area effectively? How do find a doctor that specializes in this area? A lot of doctors only show one or two before and after...any help would be appreciated!

In my practice, we generally treat facial veins with either the Vbeam or the CoolTouch Varia. Both of these lasers are designed to target the blood inside the vessel, coagulating the vein so it seals closed. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed by the body. Both of these lasers can be safely used around the eyes, as long as the treatment is performed by an experienced, board-certified dermatologist with expertise in the device. The experience and knowledge of your provider is the most important factor in ensuring a safe and successful procedure.

One is the Vbeam, which is a pulse dye laser that targets the blood in the vessel to collapse the vein so it disappears. there is no best laser for this or treatment, excel v seems to be really good in my hands, aerolase can be used and some others. I suggest long pulsed yag and make sure to pre and post treat. this area. to prevent scarring and hyperpigmentation (emeragecosmetics.com vivatia foam, faith essence serum, and Skinceuticals photo plus). The posted pictures do not show the veins well.  In general, I treat the larger around eye veins with sclerotherapy and smalller ones with microneedle radiofrequency.  It is a very safe procedure but sometimes more than one treatment is required.
