Painful, bulging, throbbing facial arteries/veins? Treatable? (Photo)

Question

I had a head injury, and within a couple months, these veins popped up. I also noticed spider veins above and under my eyes. These bigger veins on the side of my eyes/nose are throbbing, they go up to my eyebrows, I can feel the pulse, and they hurt sometimes. It hurts to wear my glasses. I can see the blue around my lips and on the sides of my cheek. I touch the bottom left of my cheek, and the vein will pop up a little ways away from my under eye.

The facial veins under your eyes can be prominent as the result of a wide number of factors. They include sinus congestion, allergies or other irritation or inflammation, trauma, especially trauma to the head. They are also more prominent if you are fair skinned or through aging and loss of facial fat. The veins right under the eyes sometimes can be treated by very specialized doctors, however, pictures you shared don't show veins that could be treated. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

The posted pictures do not show the veins very well.  The angular vein at the junction of the medial portion of the eye and nose is very difficult to treat and I would recommend leaving that alone.  The veins along the lateral portion of your eye probably can be treated by sclerotherapy or microneedle radiofrequency but the pictures are not detailed enough.
