When someone has fillers in the nose to correct an irregularity or to lift the nose, it should not be readily apparent. The nose should only appear more refined. The patient may be able to breathe better after treatment and this would be apparent to the patient only. Hyaluronic acids are the safest products to use in the nose because they can be dissolved if there is a vascular event (occluded vessel) which can compromise circulation almost anywhere on the face, including the eye. Circulation never follows textbook patterns and after rhinoplasty or nasal fracture, arteries can have unpredictable pathways. In my experience, patients are very satisfied with minor improvements because many are acutely aware of their appearance and have been disappointed by the results of an injury or even surgery. Also the airway can open and breathing become easier for many patients. Be sure to choose an experienced physician to correct any minor nose deformities and to see a specialist in rhinoplasty when considering surgery.
