My biggest concern is losing the fat that will be transferred to my hips after I get a BBL? Will that happen? I'm 5'7 150 pounds and I really just want to fill in my hip dips and have a smaller waist. But I'm scared that my results won't last

In our practice we have very strict 1 week no pressure on butt or sides, then for weeks 2/3/4 we give you a booty pillow to sit on. However the more you stay off your butt the better the results.

Answer: Losing grafter fat No one ever retains 100% of the grafted fat for this procedure.Experienced plastic surgeons over graft with anticipation of graft loss over time.Results begin to stabilize by six weeks and by three months results will be final.This is not something to be worried about it is something to take consideration.There are limits to how much increase tissue thickness can be obtained in a single round of fat transfer.The talented honest plastic surgeon will show you honest realistic long-term final outcomes and help set expectations correctly before the procedure.My experience has been that high volume fat transfer procedures like the BBL are predictable and consistent once the provider has the needed skills. This way we can show patients pictures of previous patients who had the procedure showing what the final permanent results look like.Your concern should only be finding the best provider in your area.After that accepting inherent limitations seems to work well for maintaining consistent high patient satisfaction from these procedures.
