I am 4 weeks post Kybella and the hardened lump wont go away. I am a thin athletic 43 year old. I have much more of a double chin now than I had before treatment. I'm also very numb still and I have lumps. I was told to massage the area but is there anything else I can do personally to help the process? I've had problems with my immune system, could that be a factor why it's taking so long or does that not have an impact? Thanks
Answer: Does eating or drinking certain things affect the way Kybella works? And does exercise help speed the process? What you eat or drink or how you exercise does not affect how Kybella works . It depends on how many vials were used to treat your submental fat. It usually takes three to four treatments to see improvement.

Answer: Kybella Results--add thermage, ultherapy, exilis, VASER, ThermiRF No, this will not speed up the process. I recommend following up with your practitioner for after care. For after care, I recommend venus legacy and massage. It can take 6-8 weeks to start to see results with Kybella and some people need more than one treatment. To improve Kybella results, I recommend a combination approach with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is an alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Eating & Drinking post treatment? Kybella recovery Drinking lots of fluids is good post-treatment. Massage may help, but swelling and/or lumps can be typical and can last several weeks. Kybella take 1-3 treatments every 6 weeks. Patient will develop swelling and possible bruising after each injection that may last a few days. The benefit of Kybella is each treatment is quick and completed in the office. However, some patients need more than one treatment to get desired results. Hope this helps.

Answer: Does eating and drinking certain things affect the way Kybella works? And does exercise help speed the process? Kybella is an injectable treatment used to reduce submental fat (double chin), and while eating and drinking specific things may not directly affect its effectiveness, maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle can play a role in your overall results. 1. Diet: Eating a balanced diet can help you maintain a stable weight, which can positively impact the results of Kybella. Gaining weight after the treatment may diminish the effects.2. Hydration: Staying hydrated is important for overall health, but it’s unlikely to directly influence Kybella’s effectiveness.3. Exercise: Regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight and tone your neck muscles, which may enhance the appearance of the treated area. However, exercise alone is unlikely to replace Kybella for spot fat reduction. It’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional who specializes in Kybella to discuss your specific goals, as they can provide personalized guidance on how to optimize your results based on your lifestyle and individual needs.

Answer: Kybella treatment It takes about 6-8 weeks to see the results from Kybella. Some patients have prolonged swelling and numbness that can last several weeks. Usually the lumps that you feel are a result of swelling and inflammation. They should eventually subside. Massaging the area may help to speed up the process. The problems with your immune system may have a slight impact on your recovery/results but it would be important to have more information about that condition. You should discuss your concerns with your practitioner.
