Can a DOA release help reduce the droopy appearance of my lips? (Photo)

The corners of your mouth are not droopy. The reason you are seeing them as droopy is because your upper lip is out of proportion with your lower lip. Normally the lower lip is larger than the upper lip naturally, even in patients born with really full lips (though there are some exceptions). Notice this is true in your goal pics- none of these have an upper lip that is larger than the lower. When patients have filler injected to the lips, the prettiest lips are the ones that still maintain this proportion of lower lip being larger than the upper, or being even in size with the upper. When the upper lip is much larger than the lower lip, other things start looking off too. If you have filler currently, you could either have some of the filler removed from the upper lip, or you could add a little filler to the lower lip and also to the corners to add a little support. If these are your natural lips, you could still do filler to the lower lip and corners, though it will give a very full look so make sure that is something you like. I would not recommend a corner lip lift. Rather than a DOA release, if you want to see the effect of knocking out the DOA, you could consider Botox to the DOA.

There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.
