Had upper eyelid filler 6 weeks ago. I realize now I am not right candidate. My eyes look very heavy and puffy to me. They swell a lot every morning. I am considering dissolving the filler but worried my eyelids will be saggy? Will this be the case or will they contract back to normal? They seem very stretched to me. Also is it possible to remove all the filler in one appointment (about 0.6cc per side used).

Dear ggp20,dermal fillers have significant swelling post injection. I would follow up with you plastic surgeon but typically I tell all my patients to wait a full two weeks. Generally at 2 weeks they are happy and glad they didn't dissolve. Dissolving is unpredictable as well.Daniel Bar...
Filler itself should not cause muscles to spasms. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. If you're unhappy with your results, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. Best, Dr. Emer
