Disfiguring chin implant - deep jowl-inducing marionette line following procedure. Will this correct itself with time? (Photo)

RichardS.
This is the result following a 2nd procedure (1 month after initial), to realign a wing that jutted upward above the jaw-line. The photos are 2 months post-op, and now at 3 months, the puffy jowel and crevis remain. Needless to say the depression is overwhelming, and I avoid the mirror like the plague. You can see (photo) how only the "corrected" side is affected, and btw, the 1st procedure didn't produce this result. They say it takes 6 months to fully heal, but this appears out of the ordinary.
