Custom implants in Australia? I'm looking to rebuild my face after unfavorable results from a jaw shaving surgery.

There are a number of ways to address this.  One is that we can do custom implants. However, sometimes all you need is a premade implant. Other times we can adjust the jaw bone on our own without an implant.  I have many patients from Australia who visit and have these procedures done while they are on vacation, so it can readily be done without a hospital stay.

Custom jawline implants can be made of PEEK material although that is the most costly material to use to do it. In rebuilding a previously removed jawline the question is whether you want to return to your original jawline shape or halfway between what you were and where you are now. With computer designing you can make either choice.
