I´ve done 3 TCA peels recently, but I was told by biology teacher, that chemical peel are as dangerous as ultraviolet light - skin cells on the top are destroyed and the production of new skin cells starts, what can cause some mutations. Is that true? Thank you.

Answer: Chemical peels do not cause skin cancer. We use them to treat skin cancer.

I would definitely consider a good facial with a consult from a dermatologist about a course of antibiotics to stop the spread of the acne. You should be careful about extractions from a facial especially before the wedding. Best, Dr. Green
