The surgeon who did my peel allowed it to go so blue he even called people into the room to see! As a result I developed some hyperpigmentation and some atrophic like streaks that are only visible if I pull my skin in certain directions. I have fine, thin skin. I use Obagi Nuderm and its OK, but for increasing creepiness would like to do a hetters in 18 months. Will I still heal OK after this? Also, on my body only I develop hypertrophic scars. Do I sound a potential candidate?

Answer: Would I still be able to have a hetters peel after a bad Obagi TCA peel 6 years ago?
Dark under eye circles can make you look tired and older than you are. I would use a combination protocol that includes topical Melarase creams first, followed by a combination of injectable fillers, fractional laser, and RF to blend out the eyelid hollowness and tighten the skin.

It is very important that you use aquaphor or something emollient after your chemical peel and avoid the sun as well. Your physician should have given you the proper instructions after your peel. Please consult an expert for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
In the office we neutralize chemical peels with water. I am not sure what kind of peel you are doing at home but there should be instructions. Best, Dr. Green
