Difference between Sciton Profractional and eMatrix?

Question

I have recently visited with two plastic surgeons for concerns with fine lines and wrinkles: one who performs laser treatments with the Sciton Profractional and with one who performs laser treatments with the eMatrix laser. Both doctors described the process and results similarly. Are there differences between these two lasers? Similarities? Are the results equitable? Please advise! And thank you.

you need a formal consult to determine what is best for your goals and skin type there are many combinations which maybe best.for all young people i suggest a combination approach of :
1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling

2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors
3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel, Viva, doctor fake diacomo urtisor Co2/Erbium
4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production
5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tighteningDr. Emer

There is a large difference between the tow in terms of dealing with your skin type. A photo of what you are getting treated would be most helpful since eMatrix is a color blind laser and probably the best if you have type 3 or darker skin type.  A formal evaluation with a specialist in lasers would be essential.  Best, Dr. Green

Having one device to address all your concerns is not ideal, however to answer your question its the erbium laser that is better. Ensure that the plastics and not the nurse performs the procedure. Lasers in THIS setting will always outperform bipolar pin RF devices. Longer downtime following erbium laser, but much better result in the correct settings. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
