What can be done about dark spots on nose bridge/root (next to eyes)? Filler? Blindness risk? (photos)

Those dark spots marked with the arrows is a vein. That will not go away with fillers and injecting the HA there is very dangerous. It is true the risk of blindness. If you get the filler on the bridge of the nose the massage does not move it to the sides. There are reports of complications as skin necrosis and blindness on Asian patients after HA injections on the nose and glabelar area. The doctor that evaluates your case can tell you if is a good idea, where to inject and how much volume. Consult with a board certified surgeons or dermatologist who is very experienced in the this field.

Fillers around the eyes if not appropriately injected can have risks.  The risks are low, but I would suggest going to an expert injector and someone that uses cannulas.  Best, Dr. Emer.

This is one of the high risk areas that is the vein their closely aligned with facial artery and very high risk for blindness. I would seek advice from a very experienced plastic surgeon to see if there is a way to mitigate around this and if it's even worth it. Even with a cánula it's not 100% safe and does not guarantee you will miss the vein. Also even the most smallest G' HA expands on tissue and can compress a vein or an artery. There are makeup brands out there that cover those blue hues which is much safer.
