Did I do damage to nose after squeeze massage to tip and sides 3 weeks after rhinoplasty?

I had a closed rhinoplasty done to push the upper nasal bones into place. 3 weeks after surgery I did some massage techniques to my nose to reduce swelling, by holding the tip and sides of my nose for 5 seconds and then releasing. Did this maybe 10 times a day for 4 days and then stopped as I think swelling increased. Will I have damaged the cartilage or shape of my tip/nose? Will my nose shape heal funny because of this or will cartilage/skin always heal and drape as it was??

It's hard to determine how your nose has changed without an in-person evaluation to feel for changes in the structure. I strongly advise following up with your Rhinoplasty surgeon.

Only massage or squeeze your nose as your surgeon recommends.  Yes, you could damage your nose if you do this incorrectly.
