I've had crooked incisors for as long as I can remember but haven't had the money to fix them. I'm 25 and now I do, so I want to look at options. Would like opinions before I visit an Orthodontist in regards to options and how long the process will take. Thanks!
Answer: Definitely Invisalign Hello Charlie9011, You are about to have an incredible transformation from a smile that you've not been happy with to that "Wow" smile that everyone desires. You're going to be able to do that with a very conservative treatment of Invisalign and whitening only. From your pictures that you submitted, it looks as if you have perfectly shaped teeth and they just need to be moved into the proper position. This will broaden your smile, eliminate shadowing and improve the appearance of your smile dramatically. Based on similar cases I've treated with Invisalign, I think your case would take approximately nine months to rotate your laterals and expand your arches. I do not think you should ever proceed with any kind of restorative options as this would require grinding away the good, beautiful, healthy tooth structure that you possess. While it will take a few months to do Invisalign, this will be the most conservative, natural option which will give you long lasting lifetime results that will not have to have any future work. Invisalign will get these results without all of the hassles and drawbacks of conventional Orthodontics . Please wear your retainers after your dentist straightens your teeth and you will enjoy your sensational smile for the rest of your life. Douglas Jopling, DDS Dallas, Texas area

Answer: Crooked Lateral Incisors Nice photos. All 3 of the treatment options listed would work for you. I have used all 3 options over the years for patients with front teeth like yours. At 25 years old, Invisalign or braces will work to line your teeth up and give you a great smile. Patients that are older and/or have chipped or worn down teeth, may consider veneers to recreate a whole looking tooth and a pleasing smile. Veneers also are a great option for people in a hurry to have a nice smile.Speak to your general dentist to see what he or she says.

Answer: Options Thanks for posting the pictures. Your best option is to consider orthodontics. It will give you the most bang for your buck. Your teeth will be moved to their ideal position in the shortest amount of time. Orthodontics is minimally invasive and you won't be removing tooth structure as you would with veneers.
