Crease height too low? Asian double eyelid surgery

You are still healing three weeks after Asian blepharoplasty. There will be swelling above and below the new crease at 3 weeks after surgery. It takes 4-6 months before the final result. At this point, it is hard to judge the final result. I am sure your result will be more natural with time. Please be patient and let the natural healing process take place.

Significant swelling is normal and to be expected after Asian eyelid surgery, especially if an incisional technique was used.  Once the initial swelling resolves in 1-3 months the crease (if properly created during surgery) should become better defined.

Crease size generally get smaller for up to a year and a half. If there are some unaddressed issues such as ptosis, the crease size tends to stay too large and frequently need adjustment after the 6mo mark. Photos would help tremendously to evaluate your situation.

Typically the crease will decrease in height but don't be alarmed yet.  In some cases as the swelling subsides the crease can actually stay the same or appear higher, although, typically it does go down.We can't help you much without some photos.Best of luckChase Lay MDAsian eyelid surgery specialist

It is impossible to accurately answer your question without photos or an examination.  However, you are still very early in the post operative healing period.  It may take up to 3 months to appreciate the final results.
