I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago and would like to go for a revision. I would like to correct my slight pollybeak deformity. I'm not sure if I have a hanging columella as my profile looks normal yet from the front my tip protrudes lower than I'd like? Are these simple procedures, could I have them done using local anaesthetic? And what would be the healing time?

Although there are always exceptions, chronically infected foreign bodies in ‘contaminated’ environments like the nose are best managed by initial removal/debridement, appropriate antibiotics and then a ‘holiday’ period before definitive reconstruction.... even though the goretex is to be replac...
Yes you can reuse prior grafts assuming you need them and they are in good shape with strong integrity. It’s also common to harvest a rib cartilage graft during a revision rhinoplasty for fresh grafts. Best
In practice for over 25 years, we have not used any painful packing. Stents are only used rarely when the are significant scar adhesions present in the nose from previous surgery. Keep doing your homework
