I hit my nose causing a bump from the side and a widened bridge, could this permanent? (Photos)

I got hit to the nose and wondering if I should take action to prevent the bump formed from becoming permanent as well as the widened nasal bridge. I hear slight clicking when pressing the nasal bridge. Does it usually correct from swelling or not?

The upper portion of the structure of the nose is bone, and the lower portion is cartilage. Rhinoplasty can change bone, cartilage, skin or all three. Talk with your surgeon about whether rhinoplasty is appropriate for you and what it can achieve.

Trauma to the nose because variety of issues such as a displaced nasal fracture, dislocation of the upper lateral cartilages off of the nasal bones,  and a deviated nasal septum.  A thorough internal and external examination of the nose is going to be required to make a determination about how best to proceed.   If the fracture happened in the last week, x-rays would be helpful to make the diagnosis for insurance reimbursement.  A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump and narrowing the bridge line.  A Septoplasty may  need to be performed on the inside of the nose if there is a breathing difficulty related to the trauma
