Why does one breast look rounder? Had a revision to fix asymmetrical nipple and switched from saline to silicone.

Dear mroxana598,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. Based on your photo, it looks like there is a slight asymmetry. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. All women have some asymmetries; the question is, how noticeable are they and how correctable is the asymmetry? If you love the result, I would suggest leaving them alone, as revision could result in an outcome less pleasing to you. Mild differences in shape, hang, nipple size/position may be related to preexisting asymmetry (which is not always possible to correct with surgery), or may have something to do with surgical approach. Touchups are not uncommonly done for some of these asymmetries but I suggest you enjoy your nice result and leave well enough alone!

Thanks for your question about breast revision.  I think you nailed it when you said you love them and are happy with them because you do look good. In general most people have some differences between the right and left sides of many body parts like the breast, eyes, ears, etc.  I would say the differences you notice are related to your individual anatomy.  Follow up with your surgeon if you have additional concerns.
