I did all of my pre op tests, I was not pregnant and got cleared for surgery. I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant and have an abortion scheduled for 03/13/19. My breast augmentation is scheduled for 03/21/19. My surgery is paid for and my breasts have not changed in size, shape or tenderness at all and I am still the exact same weight I was pre-pregnancy.

Answer: Surgery timing You should be fine to proceed with augmentation one week after an aspiration abortion. A pregnancy test will still be administered per protocol and your result will need to show "negative" in order to proceed.

Answer: Can I get breast augmentation 1 week after an aspiration abortion? If there were no complications from the aspiration abortion, six weeks may be a reasonable time period to wait before your BAM. This depends upon the postoperative course and your psychological well being. This must be evaluated on an individual basis by your OB/GYN and your plastic surgeon.
