Can I get breast augmentation 1 week after an aspiration abortion?

Thank you for your question.  Each surgeon will have their own protocol they wish to follow with this type of issue.  I would suggest to speak with your surgeon and follow their recommendations.  Typically as long as your HCG levels are decreasing as expected  and you have a letter stating the abortion was completed it's normally not an issue.  Best of luck to you.

Dear BerlinK:  You will be perfectly fine to undergo a breast augmentation one week after your abortion.  5 weeks is not far enough along to cause any real changes to your breast tissue and all the anesthesia medicines will be long gone after the week.  I wouldn't worry about this at all.Best of luck to you!G. Let me first say I am sorry about your news. The main concern now is the circulating hormonal changes etc that happen around the time of pregnancy, which may put you at increased risk during general anesthesia. Additionally your breast likely underwent some changes due to these hormonal changes, for an optimal cosmetic result I would wait 8 weeks or so personally.

It really depends on how you feel physically and mentally.  As long as you are doing well and no issues then I would say you should be good to go.I would recommend you ask your surgeon as he/she would be the best person to talk to.Hope that helps.

You should be fine to proceed with augmentation one week after an aspiration abortion.  A pregnancy test will still be administered per protocol and your result will need to show "negative" in order to proceed.

The procedure timing you mentioned should work out provided there is no complication from the aspiration.
