Attached are picutures of my side profile and the divet between my brows. I have had one treatment of 20 units of Botox a month ago in my glabella but have seen no difference in visual muscle mass despite not being able to frown anymore. I am female - I want a smoother profile and less of a depressed gap between my eyebrows where the muscles meet. Is this definitely achievable with Botox? If so; how many treatments might I need to see a difference?

Common side effects of Botox include: Pain, swelling or bruising at the injection site. However, since it has been 3 weeks now I would recommend following up with your injector to be evaluated or getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. While bruising is not permanent, this may last a few days up to a few weeks for it to resolve. However, taking a homeopathic remedy called Arnica Montana may help with the bruising. Bets of luck!
