Botox to treat hyperhidrosis in palms and feet?

Botox is a highly effective
and safe treatment for excessive sweating of the
armpits and palms (hyperhidrosis). Botox has been FDA approved and is an excellent
treatment to manage this condition. It will last approximately 4-6 months. This should be
done in the hands of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist trained in this
area.

Thank you for your question.  Botox can be very effective to help diminish sweating concerns in the hands and feet. I usually start with 50 units of Botox into each hand and between 50 and 75 units into each feet. This can be done in the office. And can provide a good 3 to 6 months worth of sweating relief.

Botox is an excellent treatment for excessive sweating of the underarms, hands, and feet. The average is about 50U per hand, underarm, or foot. Depending on the amount of sweating you may need more than that and it may require a couple of sessions before you get optimal results. Results last an average of about 6 months in my experience.
