In our practice we do botox, fillers and microneedling on the same day -- no need to wait. For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel, Viva, Co2/Erbium4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skinBest, Dr. Emer.
Hi @AriaLA. I recommend waiting 1 week after injectables to receive a microneedling treatment. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hello AriaLA, Microneedling will not dilute fillers. It is recommended to wait 5-7 days after being injected with fillers and/or botox to do your microneedling. A treatment can be done sooner but you want to allow enough time for the product to settle and 5-7 days is a adequate amount of time. PRP is recommended with all microneedling treatments.Enjoy your treatment!
Hello and thank you for your question. If you chose to do microneedling first , Wait about 3-4 days after for your filler. If filler is injected first, wait at least 1 week to do your microneedling, this will give the filler a chance to "settle" and swelling should be gone by then. Fillers and microneedling can be done on the same day but if you can do them separately I feel that is the best way to go. Hope this helps, good luck on your journey!!!
There is no harm in having microneedling and fillers on the same day, but because of the anticipated swelling and potential bruising from filler injections, I usually suggest waiting a few days between treatments.I often combine filler treatments with micro-needling as a “global approach” to facial rejuvenation.
