Time length between dermapen (microneedling) treatments? 2mm setting used.

Question

Recently started having dermapen treatments done. my doctor used an aggressive setting of 2mm. i am happy with results but am reading conflicitng information online. my dr suggests waiting 4 weeks before getting anothet treatment, but some commentators on realself are advising waiting 6-8 weeks? i am hoping to get good results as i have a lot of rolling scars, how long should i wait between treatments?

Hello and thanks for your question, we treat rolling scars aggressively and recommend coming back in 4 weeks for the next treatment. It is is for anti - aging I recommend every 5-6 weeks. Best of luck with your treatment , Microneedling is excellent for scars.

Hello and thank you for your question. I would follow your doctors recommendation and retreat at 4 weeks. When treating scars an aggressive approach can be taken by doing a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Follow your doctors post care and enjoy your results!
