Answer: Surgery after pregnancy Dear BbSooooooon, most plastic surgeons recommend a 6 months period between pregnancy and surgery. Regarding the tummy tuck, it is hard to tell without an examination. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery

Answer: BBL after having a baby Hello and thank you for your question. I have many post-partum clients who have had BBL. It is hard to give you exact advice without photos, but many women develop a "muffin top" after pregnancy due to the lipodystrophy (fat pockets that develop) that takes place around the waist, flanks, and lower back. Performing liposuction of this area slims the waistline, makes the buttocks appear more perkier, and transferring fat to the buttocks and hips further enhances this look. Whether or not you would also benefit from a tummy tuck depends on a) if you plan to have any future children (as having more children will ruin your tummy tuck), b) your skin quality, c) your goals, etc. In general, a tummy tuck in addition to BBL offers the ultimate silhouette for many post-partum women. I recommend you seek a one hour consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in mommy makeovers and advanced body contouring techniques. I hope this helps and best of luck to you!Sincerely,Dr. Sean Kelishadi

Answer: How long should I et to get a BBL after having a baby? Also do I have to bet a TT is tummy feels jiggly (planing to have one mor There are several things that go into making this decision. If you had a c-section you would have to wait at least 3 months to let things heal. You also want to wait until you are finished breast feeding. It is best to wait at least 6 weeks after you are finished breast feeding to give the extra hormones time to get out of your system.
