Can I take amphetamines and methylphenidate immediately after a hair transplant?

I have ADHD. I underwent a hair transplant a few days ago. Can I resume taking Adderall? I cannot find an answer to this on the internet.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.   It is also a good idea to talk to your doctor who is treating your other medical condition.

arsalanahmad,I would recommend that you discussed with your hair surgeon and physician in charge of your care. While these medications can cause thinning, if you require them to be able to function, then that might have have a favorable risk/benefit. I do not have enough information to advise.

As long as you are taking these medications as prescribed by a physician and are not taking any post operative meds that could interact with the Adderall it should be fine to restart your ADHD regimen.
