Although genetic limitations are always a factor, healthy nutrition and exercise are always the first and best option. Beyond this, surgery with liposuction (aka liposculpting or body sculpting) is your next best option. Be sure to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person physical exam and discussion of risks, benefits and alternatives. Glad to help.

If your inherent waist, without skin or fat, is larger than 23.5 inches, it cannot be achieved without significant weight loss.If your inherent waist is less than 23.5 inches, then liposuction may be able to get you something close to that.I try to never talk about or promise changes in inches. Patients are disgruntled afterwards much too often.Some patients have the potential to see a significant change in size and some don't.It's very individualized.
