Hello! I got my first Breast Augmentation 4 days ago (5/26/16). I am 5'6" and weigh 125 pounds. I got 295cc in one breast and 310cc in the other. I tried on a bikini today and they look super fake, are hard, and way too big in comparison to what I wanted! I used to be a 34B and wanted to be a Full C or small D. Are they swollen? How much should I expect them to shrink? Bc at this point I am not liking the size or the shape from the side

Answer: Breast Augmentation Recovery Congratulations on your surgery. From the look of things your surgery looks great. At this point it is very difficult to judge on size. I would assume that you and your surgeon tried some sort of sizing prior to surgery. It will take about 2 months before they start to soften up and look more natural, but it isn't until 4 months before they look the way they are supposed to look. So at this point try not to make any judgement on them and wait to see how things look when you are 4 months out.Good luck.

Answer: Early post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about results. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-
