I am 38, and have hereditary gynocomastia since age 13. Based on my research, Blue Shield California will approve female breast reduction and gynocomastia. I have called many doctors that specialize in gynocomastia and all do not accept insurance. I’m seeking a doctor that is well skilled in gynocomastia surgery + has had success with Blue Shield covering this procedure.

Thank you for your question and photo. I would recommend liposuction and fat graft the first instance as this is more natural (your own body) and hence unlikely to get rejected in the long term. I have had good results with fat grafting and correction of this problem. Best of luck.
