How long should I wait to have a facial or chemical peel after a rib graft rhinoplasty?

It's summer time and I feel the pores on my nose are so clogged. But I don't want to touch my nose given I just had a rhinoplasty. So how long should I wait when it's safe to have a vial with pore extraction? Thank you!!

I always do recommend to check in with the surgeon who performed your surgery and It is always very important to communicate this to your provider who is performing your treatment. Good Morning! Great question. You'll likely find a variety of responses and there's not one answer that's more correct than another. In my experience, it really depends on how far out you are from your rhinoplasty, the current swelling, and the degree of chemical peel. If you're healing well, are at least 6-8 weeks out, and the peel is light, you're likely fine. If the swelling of your nose is significant and the depth of the peel is more intense, it may lead to worse inflammation and waiting would be advised. A gentle facial would likely be fine. But, I would speak with your surgeon about your progress and your aesthetician to find the best compromise. Hope this helps!
