Hello Jody,Thank you so much for this question. You are right! combining Exosomes into a facial treatment whether it be microneedling and/or dermaplane facial is not spoke of enough! Exosomes support the natural production of collagen and elastin two essential fibers found in the skin responsible for providing firm and tightness to the skin. As we age our skin naturally produces less and less of these proteins. Because exosomes work a cellular level the results are long lasting and work wonders when paired with a dermaplane and microneedling treatment.
Thank you for your question! There are many benefits to using exosomes. In our experience, there is significantly more stimulation of Collagen, Elastin, and Hyaluronic Acid, as well as a much faster recovery with enhanced rejuvenation.
Exosome therapy, or the use of extracellular vesicles, is an emerging and promising technology in regenerative medicine, particularly for skin and soft tissue repair. These nano-sized vesicles carry bioactive molecules that play crucial roles in cellular communication, potentially aiding in tissue regeneration. Preclinical studies, primarily involving animal models, have shown exosomes to be effective in promoting skin healing and restoration, and they hold potential for a variety of applications in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Exosome therapy offers the advantage of being cell-free and ready-to-use, which simplifies its adoption compared to traditional regenerative cell-based therapies. However, no exosome products have been approved by the US FDA yet, and more research is needed to establish clear guidelines for their use. The main considerations for practice utilization include variation in exosome purification, isolation, storage, scalability and reproducibility. In the field of regenerative aesthetics, exosomes are gaining attention for their potential in skin rejuvenation and hair restoration. As a minimally invasive option, exosomes offer a promising way to address the underlying causes of skin aging and promote tissue health. While the technology is still in its early stages, initial studies suggest that exosomes can improve skin rejuvenation by enhancing cellular communication and restoring tissue balance. Challenges remain in terms of exosome purification, storage, and reproducibility, and while current research shows safety in humans, there is a lack of consensus on long-term efficacy. Further clinical studies are required to determine which patients will benefit most from exosome therapy and to ensure regulatory compliance before widespread use in aesthetic medicine.Krishna Vyas, MD, PhD, MHSHarvard, Hopkins, & Mayo Clinic Trained Aesthetic Plastic SurgeonNew York, New York
none, I find that PRP and exosomes do great with lasers, microneedling, and at home dermarolling but dont do much if you inject them. I suggest starting emerageskin aerify and microneedling system at home every 2 weeks and do exosomes with lasers like moxi or clear and brilliant every 4-6 weeks in the office. Best, Dr. Emer.
The exosomes (Exo/E) that Renassance medical use are plant derived and stimulate 10x more collagen and hyaluronic acid production. Plant derive exosomes are excellent options for patients who could have sensitivity to animal derive exosomes.Exosomes are used stand alone or as an great add on for post laser treatments. It helps expedite the healing process after a laser treatment.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Thank you for your question,People with electrical devices e.g., pacemakers, or metal implants e.g., artificial metal hip joints, heart valves or dental plates, cannot be treated because RF current flowing through the body may interfere with these devices or heat up metal implants, which could...
