How long should I wait for 2nd round for BBL? Should I talk to my original surgeon? (photos)

Hello I’m 30 years old, I had Lilo 360, TT and bbl done Sept 2018. I’m very happy with my TT results so far I still have swelling but my actually concern is my bbl results. I feel like the doctor didn’t give me what I asked for i def wanted more projection. When would it be safe to go for another round? Should I talk to my surgeon about a revision or just go to another doctor? Not happy that I paid a lot of money to get a nice butt and I didn’t get that.

It is important to know that not every patient can have their wish photo result as this is not always realistic. It is important to find a board certified PS that feels confident they can give you the results that you desire. If you shared exactly what you wanted with your PS and they were not able to give you the result, then maybe they are not the right surgeon for round 2.

Hi. You can not see your final results after just less  than 2 month after surgery. You are still swollen and in the recovery period. Everything can be subject to revision but you need to have patient and wait to see  your final results, and above all have realistic  expectations of  the changes you may get. Hello dear, thank you for your question and pictures.
The time that is recommended to wait between procedures is at least 6 months, this way your body can recover from it’s previous surgery. I think is a good idea to return first to your original plastic surgeon and you could look for a second opinion. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to our forum!
I can describe the situation in Florida as it is where I reside. However, I am sure that other states have similar rules and regulations as well. If liposuction and fat transfer is performed as a stand-alone procedure, one may remove 4000 cc of fat (one gallon) , giving the surgeon more than enough fat to transfer. On the other hand, if a liposuction with fat transfer is performed in conjunction with other procedures (such as tummy tuck), Florida law limits us to 1000 cc of fat ( one quart). If you are healthy and still have enough fat to transfer, I would consider a secondary BBL procedure  after 6 months when the swelling of the previous surgery has mostly subsided and the associated hypervascularity has abated. 15% of cosmetic procedures require a secondary touch up.
Return to your plastic surgeon for his / her advice.

3 months is the recommended time that you give yourself to heal and for the swelling to go down. If the surgery was in September and you're unhappy with your results, it might be time to consider a BBL revision.Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) revision. The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons.  A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring.
