How long does it take for transplanted eyebrow grafts to set? 1 week post-op.

Some crusties have been falling off when I wash the recipient area but sometimes there is a hair attached to it. I don’t think it’s a graft because it’s very small and there is no bleeding but if I instead pulled out a graft— I am about a week post op.

In regards to your eyebrow hair restoration I would seek a consult with a board certified surgeon who has experience and success with hair transplantation. Getting injectables such as Botox/Filler will not cause any reactions to your eyebrows.Best,Dr. Anil Shah, MD FACS

You can harvest hair from the almost anywhere on your body but it will leave a scar.  So if you harvest eyebrow hair from your eyebrows you risk having an unsightly scar from where the hairs were harvested.

Eyebrow transplant is possible for those with curly hair but longer you grow out the eyebrow it will curl just like your scalp hair.  You need to discuss your goals and expectations with your doctor.
