Can Botox and fillers affect my eyebrow transplant?

Question

Considering a third eyebrow transplant as at least half the hairs from my last eyebrow transplant fell out. Would Botox in the eyebrow area and fillers in tear trough and cheek area affect the eyebrow transplant at all if Botox/fillers are in a regular basis?

In regards to your eyebrow hair restoration I would seek a consult with a board certified surgeon who has experience and success with hair transplantation. Getting injectables such as Botox/Filler will not cause any reactions to your eyebrows.Best,Dr. Anil Shah, MD FACS

A failure of an eyebrow transplant is unusual. You may ask your doctor if you might have an autoimmune disease of the skin that cause the loss of the transplants
