How long does the Platysma stay together?

JANUARY 22, 2013 I had a lower facelift, neck lipo, upper eyes done. Will the platysma stay together, or like the rest, eventually have to be done again in time? I'm 49 Dr. KEVIN SEDATI in Newport Beach, California did it. He invented a new technique a double stitch for the facelift. I'm wondering if this longer lasting procedure applies to the Platysma?

Yes.  The artifact effect of the drain typically goes away after 3 weeks or so.  Your surgeon should know that the nurse pulled the drain without properly stabilizing the skin.  Your input may save someone else from that type of treatment.

Most likely you can get a chin implant, see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for an evaluation. The scar from your lower facelift is most likely where the incision for the implant will be placed. Good luck!
