i am looking at the Hospital Group (UK)'s one, which does not involve a thread or hooks, which seems to be the only one i can find ref to. This is a half moon incision just infront/above the ear, with stitch and closing sutures, taking 45 mins under local.
Answer: Facelift? Thank you for your question. These minimally invasive techniques are best suited to patients with mild aging changes. Moderate to severe aging changes would more likely benefit from a more traditional facelift. I would recommend consultation with a facial plastic surgeon to discuss what option is best for you."This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."

Answer: Two Stitches are Necessary to Get the Best Result! To get a symmetrical and natural result, you really need 2 stitches, one on each side of the face, rather than just one stitch on one side. Those surgeons who only use one stitch are just trying to save time and money by only having to buy one stitch instead of two for the procedure.Sorry. I just can't give a serious answer to the concept of minimalist facelifts. If you want a quick, inexpensive procedure that you heal (really) fast from, I would suggest that you use two pieces of adhesive tape connected to an elastic band that goes around the back of your head before you try this "one stitch" procedure. The tape will probably produce a better-looking result, will last a lot longer, there's little to no physical risk with tape, it costs probably a couple of thousand dollars less than this "one stitch" thing, and if you don't like the results, it's quickly reversible.

Answer: How long does a one stitch facelift last? Try to resist going to get something done that has not been a part of mainstream plastic surgery. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of facelifts, necklifts facelift revisions, and facial procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Answer: Miniaturized operations yield miniaturized results. I don't know specifically about what you describe is a one stitch facelift. Based on your description of the technique I think you're going to be disappointed regardless of the cost.
