I need your advice as to how to sleep after having fat transfer to my hips, BBL, and breast lift with implants?

Greetings doctor's! I have elected to have Liposuction, than fat transfer to my Hips and BBL, in conjunction with Breast Lift with Implants. My question is how am I to sleep if I'm having work done on my breasts, hips, and buttocks? I can't sleep on my side if I'm having fat injected there, can't sleep on my buttocks because it would defeat the purpose of my bbl, can't sleep on my stomach due to my breast lift with implants. Do I sleep [RS bleep] position with my butt in the air lol smh?

I usually have my patients sleep on their side of with pillows under their legs so that there is no pressure on the buttocks.

This is an excellent question and I'm glad you're thinking about it before your procedure.Whenever anybody schedules combination surgery that includes any anterior(The front of the body) with a BBL sleeping becomes an issue.We generally recommend patients not sleep on their back for 2 to 3 weeks after a BBL.and avoid any unnecessary sitting or excess of physical activity.We also don't recommend patients put pressure on newly placed implants especially if done in conjunction with a breast lift.I would advise against having those two procedures done at the same time.If I had to choose I would personally avoid pressure on the breasts if implants are done with the lift at the same time.I suggest getting lots of pillows and practicing adjusting pressure points and trying sleeping on your back putting more pressure on your lower back and the back of your thighs and see how that works before the procedure.normally your plastic surgeon would've address this during the consultation or during a pre-op visit.At least that's how we do it in our office.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
