How to remove lip scars from previous lip thinning surgery? (photo)

I had lip thinning surgery on my upper lip 3 years ago. The stitches were removed in a week so I wasn't fully recovered. Do you have any treatments for me? Any gel is suitable for me to massage my lip?

Hi JamesNg,Keep in mind when receiving a lip reduction, the final result is really not seen for two to three months. Most people feel comfortable back in public at 3 days but this varies from individual to individual.Best,Anil Shah MD

Hello, large lips regardless of how they were caused can be reduced in size by lip reduction surgery. This involves removal of a partial portion of the lip with incisions hidden towards the inside of the lip. This is done under local anesthesia as a same day procedure. Thanks.
